The Vanguard of the Future The development of the Muslim youth, easily the best investment in the Ummah's future, is of significant importance to us.

The GIT has a long list of educational, character-building and leadership development programs every year for youths and students.

In fact, youths are involved in every facet of the GIT and are encouraged to be involved in decision-making. The Youth and Student Department oversees various aspects of youth development across Guyana.

The GIT has maintained its concentration on developing young people, a vital resource in our world. Much of the breakdown now experienced in the society results from poor attention to the building of strong, motivated and disciplined young characters.

The Youth and Student Department has over the years excelled in creating avenues to allow for the moral, intellectual and spiritual growth and nurturing of our hope for tomorrow.
