Stimulate Islamic consciousness among students through organized Islamic societies in secondary schools
Commencement of second year Islamic studies (Diploma) program at the GII
Foster greater involvement with Parents in Children's development at all levels of the GIT's educational programs
Greater coordination and introduction of competitions among Islamic schools
In Strengthening Individuals, Youths and Families:
Promoting and facilitating the individual all-round growth, well being and knowledge will continue to be an area of topmost focus and priority
Expanding and improving students support: scholarships, financial assistance and support for families of poor but promising students
Youth Seminars and outdoor social activities to focus on: Personality development and fraternal relationship
Youth corps would be established in various districts
In Community Development and Da'wah:
Facilitate greater coordination among concerned Muslim organizations in the interest of the Da'wah and the Muslims' affairs
Closer consolidation with Masajid across Guyana in Da'wah to Non-Muslims and community development
Consistent and organized follow programs for new Muslims to continue
Empowerment of the poor and disadvantaged through skills enhancement projects
Intensified Awareness on Islam through effective utilization of all media facilities
In Economics and Finance:
Implementation of Teachers' Welfare and Pension Scheme package
Consolidate and expand Micro-Economic projects across the country
Support the Establishment of a Muslim Credit Union facility and Micro Finance Institution.
In Social Relief and Welfare:
Establish and strengthen working relationship with donor agencies locally and abroad for social welfare projects
Establish a monthly handout project in all the regions of Guyana
Carry out an array of Medical outreach and Circumcision programs
Continuous recruitment and training of volunteer workers for social relief and welfare work
Improved competency and efficiency at all levels of the Islamic work through Human Resource Development
E-Network all departments of the GIT in order to boost information dissemination to the Muslim community
Establish a National Disaster preparedness scheme.
