The Guyana Islamic Trust manages its grass root work through fourteen (14) Administrative Districts. With the introduction of the District Administrative System, the GIT has reached out and involve a far wider cross-section of the Muslim community in its activities and programs.
The Districts represent the most important aspect of the GIT’s ground work and is therefore complemented by the other departments of the organization.
Each district is manned by a team of committed and dedicated volunteer Islamic workers- brothers and sisters supporting each other’s efforts.
